Abertillery BG RFC is a proud rugby club dating back to the 1800's. The club has produced numerous Welsh internationals and British Lions. In more recent times we continue to regularly supply players and coaches to representative teams such as Monmouthshire County and Crawshays. The first XV are currently playing in the WRU Championship East after winning Division 1 East in 24/25.
Established to bring the people of Abertillery together through sport, Abertillery BG RFC has built a strong reputation as a club that values teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship. Over the years, we have cultivated a culture of perseverance and respect, ensuring that every player, supporter, and member of our community feels like part of the Abertillery BG RFC family.
